It's been a while since I posted here and I'm debating on leaving this for my handmade things or putting in entries that are more personal about how I'm feeling...now sure what to do.

I still have been doing my handmade doll clothing and all the other good stuff but, have been getting more into photography also.

Thankfully, in the meantime I have my dog that makes me smile...she just know's when I need to :D And I have a few close friends that give me inspiration, positive energy and truthfulness...which means more to me than I can express.

I just got this tattoo last night!!!! It spells out "doll face" on my knuckles. I choose that little phrase because, it's what I do (custom doll face-ups for my customers) and because I think I'm kinda cute! It's actually an old-school rockabilly saying for a cute girl :D

This is a little achievement award from me to me....a pat on the back to myself if you will...

Yay! A New Dolly

This is my new Baby!!!! Her name is Matilda and she is a B & G Tiny BJD Leile. She is normal skin resin and I did her face-up. She is the same size and dimensions as a Lati Yellow BJD.

Her face sculpt is just fabulous and I'm soooooooo happy to have her. Molly is also very happy because now she has someone to play with :D

Sugar has on her new hairs! She has a beautiful mohiar wig from Sleeping Elf in strawberry. Sugar is my first blythe and has had quite a few face-ups because I just didn't feel that she looked the way I pictured she should. Now, with the face I've done and this wig, I think she's perfect! She is a beautiful blythe and looks just like I've pictured :D

I'm The Proud Owner of a Scooter!!!

I purchased a Yamaha Vino 2009 scooter yestarday!!!! I have never had a vehicle like this before and I'm just lovin' this little scooter. I was riding it before work yestarday and just didn't want to put it away to go to work. I want to get some accessories for it, I need a basket for my dog Lucy to ride in and some decals to make it look more "mine".

This will be my transportation to work and around base. It gets a little over 100 miles to the gallon! So, I won't be filling this baby up very much!!!! :D

These are a few pics from "Dolly Day"!! My friends and I had a mini meet at a Barnes and Noble with our Dolls (mostly Blythes).

We usually have a get-together once a week but, with the Holidays it's been a little hard to do a weekly meet and I was soooooo happy to have a Dolly Day!

OK! I Now Have a Floor to Ceiling Dollhouse!!!

Yay! I have my huge Blythe Mansion!!!!! All the dolls are now living together (hopefully in harmony) I may add one more same size dollhouse right beside the current one and make that the "new" doll mall or just an addition with a top floor patio. I plan on using every inch of this room for dolls/toys in some way shape or form! I added a nice chair so I can sit and crochet or read in my room too!!!!!!

I'm a happy girl!

Goals for the Doll/Sewing Room

I need to expand my dollhouse - upward! I'll be adding a dollhouse on top of my existing Blythe Mansion and it will be floor to ceiling in height (must also have hubby anchor it to the wall).

I need to also expand the Doll Mall, maybe I'll just have to resort to turning the other dollhouse into the doll mall and moving the little dolls into the current mall?????? If I expanded the Doll Mall in the same fashion as the Blythe mansion I could have a Doll Mall floor to ceiling and put in a food court, spa and a lounge ( for the dolls to listen to bands and have drinks)

I need to add stuff to my Inspriation board and add a shelf over the window in the room for more stuff !!

I had a really great Holiday! I'm just a very lucky lady to have such a wonderful hubby! And I'm so glad that I had all of my puppies and my kitty with me for Christmas. I do really miss my Saydie (who passed away this past June), she loved to open Christmas presents!!!!

I miss not being with my family in PA, especially around the holidays. I'm thankful that my dad is out of the hospital and could be at home to enjoy Christmas and New Years.

I hope that 2009 is a more prosperous year for my Etsy shop! I just don't have a drive to do many dresses when I'm not selling anything! I need to get myself movtivated and make something for my shop very soon.

I finally have a Mod Molly and I love her! I purchased Cali from michellesart on TIB. Michelle is a wonderful seller and very sweet person!

I really liked MM after seeing owner pics but, to have her in person and see her she is just fab. Her hair color is amazing and her make-up is just awesome paired with her complexion and hair!

Ruari, who is my newest girl, just received her beautiful mohair wig today! Ruari is a first edition Saffy. She has her stock face-up, 3 sets of stock eyechips and one set of milky pink eyechips. She looks absolutely fab in this wig, I just LOVE her hair!

Started My New Job Yestarday

I started my new job at the Commissary (the Commissary is basically a grocery store on the Air Force Base that I live on)yestarday where I will be working in the bakery and/or Deli. I really think that the job will be fun, everyone that works there seems very nice and very willing to help train me. It's just a part-time job, about 20 hrs per week, so I will still have time for sewing and all that stuff.

It's nice having this job because I can just walk to work in 15 minutes.

New Dolly Digs!!!

I've mostly finished the dolls new dollhouse. I ordered a dollhouse and had my hubby spraypaint it with primer. Then I painted the inside and trim. The only things left to do are paint the outside of the house, add curtains and add railing to the patio.

Next up will be the Doll Mall and Gothic Girls apartment. The Doll Mall is a big bookcase that I originally had the dolls living in and now the gothic girls will have the top 1 or 2 floors with the rest of the floors having a beauty salon, clothing boutique and coffee shop.

The bottom picture is an updated picture of the patio. I added all the flowers and door last night.

This is my spare room that is being converted into a doll/sewing room. I have a sewing desk on the way that I'll be putting in front of the window and the dollhouses (bookcases) will go on the other wall. I would really like to be able to fit a nice, comfy chair in there too.

Commissions Open for Custom Hujoo Face-Ups

The materials used in my face-ups are: Mr. Super Clear for sealant, pastelles, watercolor pencils and acrylic paints. All materials are artist grade and will have wonderful coverage and pigment.

This face-up does not include eyelashes but, I will attach eyelashes at no charge if you provide them for me.

I can work with you on the colors and do a preliminary design. If you can provide the eyes and wig for me, that's a great help, so that I can besure to match the colors of the face-up to your wig and dolls eyes.

I'm really flexible and love to do face ups ranging from natural to fun and funky!!!!

This is LuLu, my Lounging Lovely, with her new eyechips. I love her with these chips. I wanted bold colors for her eyes since she has dark hair

I'm giving Sugar a new look. I carved a smirk on her lips and she is going to have all new eyechips. She's getting a reroot of Saran hair in a FireMist blend. She only has a couple rows so, she's wearing a hat to hide the baldness.

Hi Everyone!

I'm back from my 3 week hiadus and ready to start sewing again. The pictures in this post are of new dresses currently available in my shop.

Within the next few weeks I'll be adding autumn and halloween dresses to the shop for the Blythes, Odecos and Wanda.

**Please note** The blythe dresses also fit Hujoo and Moof. The mini dresses are a good length for Lati Yellow dolls. Also, my Tiny BJD clothing will fit Alice Cherryblossom and PocketFairy dolls.
